Who we are . . .
Lake of the Ozarks Swing Dance Club was formed primarily to organize the Swing
Into Fall event at the Lodge of Four Seasons at Lake of the Ozarks.  In February
2007, we received official notice from the Midwest Swing Dance Federation that we
were accepted as a Sister Club.  We
are a not-for-profit corporation and have filed
for our tax free
status.  We plan to organize the Lake area dancers into a viable
dance club
while bringing help to many of the local charities..
December, 2007 we were admitted into the American Bob Association. This is a
national organization of swing dance clubs. The ABA also sponsors the annual
cruise.

Our Interests . . .
Primarily, we are interested in preserving and promoting swing dance in the Lake
area
with the intention of supporting local charities.  We plan to offer dance lessons
prior to our monthly dance. Our new location for our monthly dances is the Camden
County Museum.

Our Future...
We hope to have weekly swing dance lessons in the future.  In the meantime we
teach one hour before each monthly dance.  We like to spread the joy of dancing.
